Introducing Locanda Dal Barba, a place that feels like it belongs to the rhythm of everyday Italian life rather than a polished tourist checklist. Tucked away at Via Antonio Pesenti, 1, 38060 Villa Lagarina TN, Italy, Locanda Dal Barba carries the unmistakable charm of a true Italian restaurant where food, conversation, and time flow naturally together. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to settle in whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or planning a longer, more indulgent meal. The Italian vibe is authentic and unforced, shaped by simple details, warm service, and a menu designed to please a wide range of tastes without losing its soul. Outdoor seating adds an extra layer of appeal, especially on pleasant days when dining al fresco feels like the obvious choice, while the comfortable dine-in space works just as well for quiet meals or lively gatherings. For those days when staying in sounds better, delivery is also an option, keeping the experience flexible and convenient. The offerings reflect thoughtful variety, with everything from wine, beer, and spirits to coffee that fits perfectly at any hour. Small plates and quick bites make it easy to keep things light, yet there are also healthy options for diners who prefer balance over indulgence. Vegetarian and vegan options are handled with care, not as an afterthought, which makes the menu feel inclusive and modern. A private dining room creates space for more personal occasions, whether that’s a family celebration or a relaxed business dinner. Alcohol is available for those who enjoy pairing a good drink with good food, and the wine selection fits seamlessly into the Italian dining experience. Overall, Locanda Dal Barba feels like the kind of place you’d happily recommend to friends, not because it tries to impress, but because it delivers honest flavors, an easygoing atmosphere, and the comfort of a restaurant that knows exactly what it wants to be.

Very friendly staff, excellent food! Waiters were very patient with our attempts of speaking Italian. Drinks and Pizzas arrived extremely quickly. Accommodation of food sensibilities was no problem at all. Can’t comment on the rooms as we did not stay over night.
Good food. Relatively fast service. A lot of dishes are handmade . And you support and NGO. A big plus. Ideal for children.
A lovely caring place where people with a mental handicap work, even as a waiter sometimes. The food is rustic and good and the prices are below average. Don't forget to buy some great pasta on your way out. It is made by the same people and really supports their activities.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
